Gift Card Terms & Conditions

These Gift Card Terms apply to all digital gift cards issued by STABROEK MARKET.

By purchasing or using a STABROEK MARKET gift card, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Gift Card Issuance & Delivery

STABROEK MARKET gift cards are digital gift cards issued and managed through Shopify’s secure gift card system.

  • Gift cards are delivered by email to the recipient specified at checkout

  • Each gift card contains instructions for redemption at checkout

  • Gift cards are valid for purchases made on the STABROEK MARKET website only

2. Redemption

  • Gift cards may be redeemed for eligible products available on the STABROEK MARKET website

  • Gift cards cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards

  • Gift cards may not be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated

If the purchase total exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using an accepted payment method.

3. Expiration & Fees

  • Gift cards do not expire while STABROEK MARKET remains in operation

  • No service fees, maintenance fees, or processing fees apply

4. Lost, Stolen, or Deleted Gift Cards

  • STABROEK MARKET is not responsible for lost, stolen, deleted, or unauthorized use of gift cards

  • Gift cards cannot be replaced once issued

Please store your gift card email and code securely.

5. Refunds & Cash Redemption

  • Gift cards are non-refundable

  • Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash or credit, except where required by law

Purchases made using gift cards are subject to STABROEK MARKET’s Return & Refund Policy.

6. Business Closure or Service Changes

In the event that STABROEK MARKET ceases operations, any unused gift card balances may no longer be redeemable.

Gift cards do not represent stored monetary value or a bank account and are not insured or guaranteed.

7. Fraud & Abuse

STABROEK MARKET reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or refuse gift cards and related orders where fraud, abuse, or misuse is suspected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STABROEK MARKET shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of gift cards.

9. Governing Law

These Gift Card Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
